Pale Shimmer is a small apothecary on Chiltern Street in Marylebone — five of us, one quiet shopfront, and the same morning practice we have kept since the beginning: brew the tea, open the shutters, begin the day with care.
We work with growers in Uji, Kagoshima and the Goto islands to source single-origin matcha, cold-pressed camellia, sake lees and yuzu — ingredients that have shaped Japanese skin rituals for centuries.
Every bottle is inspected, wrapped in washi and sealed with a paper band before it leaves the apothecary for its journey across the UK.Read our philosophy →
